Chauncey Solinger Campaign Finances Continue to Suffer in Run for State House

Solinger claims to be leading the race.  This of course cannot be proven by him, in spite of request to do so.  But we know when it comes to raising money, he is coming in dead last by a country mile!

A review of campaign finance records for the month of July reveals that Solinger raised a total of $90 for the whole month, not including self-loans (more on that in a moment).  His two opponents, exclusive of loans, have raised over twenty thousand in that same period.  Chauncey is getting taken out to the woodshed by people who know how to inspire confidence, raise funds, and run a campaign.

Making matters even worse for Chauncey is that he dropped another $4,000 of his own money on the campaign.  Now, on one hand you cannot fault a guy for investing in his campaign, but it clearly shows that he does not have the skills to inspire people to contribute, make connections to build his campaign, or find people who would rather support him than Grant or Rodrigues.

With the election just days away, Solinger is getting a hard lesson in the differences between himself, his campaign, and his worthy opponents.
